Two women swimming off the Raouché coast in Beirut were injured in an incident involving boats. The environmental association al-Ard publicly warned about unregulated boat traffic close to swimming areas following the report.
Woman rescued after jet ski overturns off Abdeh
Abdeh coast, Akkar — Akkar / North Lebanon
MTV Lebanon, citing the Lebanese Civil Defense, reported that a woman was rescued after the jet ski she was riding overturned in the Abdeh area of Akkar. Rescuers brought her to safety, provided first aid and said her condition was good. No collision or fault determination was reported.
Woman sustains back fractures in jet ski accident off Jounieh Bay
Jounieh Bay — Keserwan / Mount Lebanon
MTV Lebanon reported that a 19-year-old woman sustained back fractures in an accident while riding a jet ski off Jounieh Bay. Civil Defense marine-rescue personnel recovered her from the water, provided first aid and transferred her to hospital. The published report does not establish a collision, legal fault or enforcement outcome.
